Indigestion problems can arise often unforeseen and the problems can be problematic and annoying, it may cause discomfort such as bloating, flatulence, belching and more. Indigestion or the medical term dyspepsia can cause pain and discomfort for the sufferer. Indigestion can bring symptoms such as acid reflux or GERD or be the result of these conditions, the former being acid that comes back up through the throat. One of the primary causes is an imbalance in the stomachs levels of hydrochloric acid. This is a strong acid, and in incorrect levels can cause burning sensations in both the stomach, chest and esophagus, (the throat), with the latter feeling like a burning sensation is rising up through the throat. The correct levels of this acid mean that you will not have indigestion symptoms. Without it you can’t digest food properly.
Other causes can be factors such as: eating too fast, eating too many fatty foods, the wrong foods, stress, smoking, drinking too much and more, such as underlining medical conditions. Certain foods that are very spicy may also cause indigestion. Asian people frequently consume spicy foods.
